Capable of holding 60 pages in its automatic document feeder, this unit is designed for large batch jobs. It is very fast with a black and white speed of 45 ppm and a color speed of 30 ppm, both of which can be doubled when using the automatic duplex setting, allowing scan rates of 90 ipm and 60 ipm, respectively. Additionally, a high optical resolution of 600 dpi ensures that the files will be crisp and clear.
Paper handling via the ADF can be done manually or automatically with documents ranging in size from 2.0 x 2.8″ up to 8.5 x 14″ Also, a color depth of 24-bit ensures fidelity in the final scan. Further enhancing usage is ultrasonic double-feed detection to prevent accidental double feeds along with included Canon CaptureOnTouch and CapturePerfect software to assist with file management and settings.
